Today’s find is a relaxing listen that is helping me deal with some major sunburn that I received yesterday on the shores of Lake Erie. “Cargo Chase,” by the South African dub/reggae group Madkind, off their new release Firetime the EP, is an instrumental track led by bouncy organ chords and an extended trombone solo. If I close my eyes and let myself be carried away by the steady groove, I can almost forget the searing pain consuming my stomach and ankles (weird places for a sunburn, I know). Remember to wear sunscreen all over, kids! But in the meantime, listen to “Cargo Chase.”
